And remember I said I was taking an on-line class called A Crafty Adventure? The one where I made the cupcake? Well, in typical fashion, I've downloaded all the adorable projects, but haven't made any more. Until this evening. The last (frowny face) were all kinds of flowers. So I made some of the paper ones. Here they are.Today Gary and I went to a giant garage sale, held by Angels for Animals. (a place where fortunately they treat the animals much better than their volunteers...but that's another story. ) It has been ages since I've been to something like this, and I'd forgotten how much fun it could be! It's a good thing he was with me or I would have gone hog wild! Of course, my SIL is coming up tomorrow and we're going, so all bets are off.
Here's what I got today --->>>
An old math book.
And Riley Songs of Summer. That's James Whitcomb Riley. All the poems are accompanied by wonderful pictures like these.
So maybe tomorrow I'll have more goodies to show you. I had my eye on some table cloths that were somewhat stained, but the material and trim were still usable!
