Some things I've forgotten to share, and one thing I wasn't allowed to share!

One of my favorite scrapbook kit subscriptions is to Kenner Road. Each month brings something unique and exciting and definitely my funky style! Well, this month not only did I get their yummy kit, but I also won this on their blog! It's the new Making Memories Love Notes line! Isn't it adorable?!

Before the holidaze, A Place to Bark had a charity auction on eBay. I bid on and won this wonderful purse,hand-painted by Jill Marie Schulse . I just love carrying around a work of art!

And finally...I have been holding this in since Chirstmas Eve. Here's the backstory: Karen (our daughter) and her husband Josh came over for Christmas Eve dinner, as they always do. After dinner, we opened all our presents. Next we always proceed to stockings, but there was a gift left. Karen asked Josh if we should open it now, and he said no, we should wait till after the stockings. So we did. She finally handed us this little box, and said, "It's something you'll have to save till later." Gary & I opened it together to find --
Yup! I'm gonna be a grandma!! I am so excited!!!. She didn't want me to say anything publicly (although, I have to admit, I did tell a few people) until she had her first appointment. She had it today and for the most part things look good. She's farther along than she thought - 11 weeks, and the due date is August 20. She does appear to have placenta previa, so she'll have to see a high risk doctor. But from what I understood, since they found it so early on, as long as she takes care of herself and doesn't lift anything, it will be fine.

So...soon I will have to figure out how to turn this
into something like this --
