Much better day today. Actually, yesterday improved radically! Karen came over to do laundry and she had a very calming effect on me! I know it's supposed to be the other way around, but there it is! I told her I felt bad that I was the one that was the basket case and she was the one who was keeping me calm. Apparently the only thing that has really stressed her so far was that the clasp on her pearls broke. The pearls were Josh's grandmother's and his mom gave them to Karen. She is wearing them in the wedding and when she tried them on last week, the clasp broke. She took them to every jeweler and because the pearls would need restrung, it would take 4 weeks to get them back. She said she put a new clasp on it but she's afraid it looks really bad. So she's bringing it to me to see what I can do with it. (My apologies to my "cheery" friends for the copy/paste!)

Redid the seating arrangements again! I hope that's the last time. Also cleaned up the votives for the center pieces, so they are ready to go. Talked to the florist to confirm flower placement etc.

Today I baked 2 batches of the cookies. I'm leaving the Martha Stewart cookies until Thursday, as they are better when they are really fresh. I have to go out later and find air-tight containers to store the goodies.
