And just for the record, my husband sang to me at 12:09 this AM. Not quite this harmonically, but still...

Happy Birthday to you!!! 60 is a special bday in our family. My Dad was the 1st man in his family to make it past 50 and he made it to 60. Unfortunately cancer took him BUT we learned so much from him as he went through his illness.
SO long post to say - when I reach 60 I will be thinking about my Dad and how lucky I was to have him as a Dad.

I just hope to be comfortable in my own skin when I'm 60. I'm more comfortable now than I ever have been, but I would like to think that that will increase as I experience more and learn that what other people think and expect just shouldn't drive the way I try to appear. So...I hope to be ME when I am 60. I've certainly seen those changes in the other women in my family, and I look forward to that. For the record, I also hope to have traveled more extensively by then!! :-)

I am not really sure how I will feel turning 60. As fast as time goes by I still can't picture that far ahead. I will probably feel like comment above in awe of how fast time flys by.
It is refreshing to know that you feel fine and that you embrace it. That gives me hope to do the same! Live your day up!
I just turned 27, so I am trying to think about how I will feel at 30 first! :) I am sure I will be happy and surrounded by lots of kids and grandkids and friends! Have a happy birthday!
I guess I'll know how it feels in a week. I turn 60 on Nov. 29th! Like you I feel fine about it. After all it's only a number. Happy Birthday!
Well... having turned 60 in Oct., I can tell you that I felt fine! A little bittersweet memories during the day though (My Mom died of cancer before she was 57, so I thought a lot about her). Otherwise just a lot of "How did I get to be so old so quickly?!"
Happy Birthday! I turn 33 on Nov. 24!! I just hope I can make it to 60. My health has been bad the last 10 years. So if I make it that long, I'll throw a big celebration!
