C - Cake or Pie? Well, I really prefer cookies, but since that's not an option, I guess I'd say cake...with lots of butter cream frosting. Or pie...as long as it's a cream pie. Do you see a trend here?
D - Drink Of Choice? water or coffee...or a beer...or a rum & coke...
E - Essential Item You Use Everyday? Tooth paste. Although I loved Shannon's answer: toilet paper!

G - Gummy Bears Or Worms? Bears. There's a story about my daughter and throwing up in Joann's that prevents me from even looking at gummy worms!
H - Home or Homesick? I've always lived here, so home!
I - Indulgence? a long, expensive full-body massage
J - January Or February? February. I hate January! Snow, no more holidays, usually broke! LOL! And February is one more month closer to being in my garden again!
K - Kids & Their Names? Just one: Karen. Although I'm soon to get a son-in-law, Josh!
L - Life Is Incomplete Without? My family
M - Marriage date? March 18, 1978
N - Number Of Siblings? Just my big brother Jim. He was 11 years older. Unfortunately, he is deceased (don't EVER have gastric bi-pass surgery!) and I miss him terribly!
O - Oranges Or Apples? Hmmm...actually they're both about the same to me.
P - Phobias/Fears? Heights & wind. Both from events in my childhood. When we went to Gettysburg when I was little, I climbed one of the look-out towers. It was scary and I wanted help getting down. Neither of my parents would help me and they actually walked away from me, making me get down on my own! It took me a long time and ever since them, I am so afraid of heights. And wind...we lived on a farm and every time there was a storm warning, we had to put the cows in the storm barn. Mom & Dad would leave me alone in the house while they rushed around in a panic herding all the livestock. So I'm still really afraid of wind storms!
Q - Favorite Quote? This is a hard one. I love words and am always looking for good quotes. I suppose I should come up with a serious one, but right now, my favorite is "Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat."-- Alex Levine.
R - Reason to Smile? Because I am a 16-year cancer survivor! I smile about that everyday, even when times are hard!
S - Season? Spring. I love to garden and this is when things start to grow!

U - Unknown Fact About Me? I live equi-distant from 3 prisons and the county jail!
V - Vegetable you don’t like? can't think of one!
W - Worst Habit? not balancing my checking account
X - X-rays You’ve Had?Wow! Everywhere! I have so much arthritis - back, ankles, knees, hands. And then there the mammograms and bone scans. And all the scopes for my gall bladder! And of course my lungs! I should be walking radiation!

Z - Zodiac Sign? Scorpio, as are my daughter and husband! Interesting household!
