Here it is...November already! This is such a busy month for us. But an exciting one, I think.
Today was Josh's Mom's birthday. They went out. I got her this:
They have a bulldog named Max and she loves the Zelda character. Karen found this and suggested I get it for her. I guess she loved it! Thanks goodness! I had no idea what to get her.
Tomorrow all 4 of us are going to a hockey game. It's the first home game in the new convocation center, and the first of Youngstown Steelhounds. I'm really excited about going! I love hockey! And I'm excited that all four of us are going. It should be a lot of fun.
Saturday AM I'm getting up early to go to a QOC getaway in Geneva-on-the-Lake. I'm doing a mini-week-end, which starts at 8 AM Saturday. I want to get there as close to 8 as possible. I have all the scrap stuff packed. Just need to pack my clothes. I packed most of my page kits, but really want to finish the kids' Niagara Falls album. We'll see what inspriation hits!
Next Friday, Karen and I are going on our annual birthday shopping spree. Since she was 16, every November I give her money and we go to Beachwood Mall in Cleveland. We shop all day, then go to P.F. Chang's for dinner. This is one of my favorite days.
November 13 we are going to see Trans Siberian Orchestra. This will probably be our holiday concert. Karen is going with us. Gary and I saw them 2 years ago, but she's never seen them. What an experience. I know she'll love it!
Let's SIL's birthday's the 12th, Gary's the 14th, mine's the 16th, and Karen's the 21st! And that's all before Thanksgiving!
I keep meaning to call someone to clean the house before Thanksgiving. There's just the three of us, Josh, and his mom, but I want it clean and I'm not very good at that! Never was the Suzy Homemaker type! I'll cook the dinner, including the turkey, even though I don't eat it!
The day after the turkey, the tree goes up...and so the holidaze continue!
