Guess Who's Coming to Scrap Treasures?!

Becky Fleck! Yes, that wonderful creator of Page Maps sketches will be at Scrap Treasures Thursday night for a little chat! And to get us primed, she posted a wonderful sketch for us to work on. Well, I couldn't wait! I was going through wedding pictures and found one that immediately inspired me to scrap. So I grabbed the sketch, some Bazzil Bling & ScrapWorks paper, my sewing machine, and went to town. Here's what I came up with.

It really looks so much better IRL. I had to photograph it rather than scan it because it's too lumpy for a nice scan. And I never have good luck photographing my layouts. But...anyway, this is a picture of Gary walking Karen to the gazebo to give her away. The journaling says, "Gary walks with a little girl one last time. Soon...she'll be a married lady."
